You can choose to live in Zante for a number of reasons. It could be because you love the climate there and would like to spend the rest of your retirement days in this tranquil island observing the intricacies of nature. Or it could be because you want to invest in real estate, conduct your business and settle on the island. Whatever your true reason is, your choice is the best because this island in Greece is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece. If you are tired of a fast-paced life and prefer to change gears and slow down, then Zante is a wonderful choice. It is the perfect haven for people who are looking to settle in a calm and peace loving place. You get lots of sun and get yourself involved in a number of activities that surround this place.

The fairly small island of Zante is known to the Greeks as Zaknythos and is a fabulous place to spend a holiday getaway. Zante is simply enchanting with its many gorgeous hidden beaches and quiet tucked away resorts. It is definitely the place to go for those who love the sun and endless beaches; however, there are some more adventurous and unusual things to do in Zante besides hanging out on the beach.

My decision to have a short holiday on a different Greek Isle led me to chose Zante for the culture and lifestyle. I do not regret the trip, but there are a few recommendations of places I would suggest avoiding.
