But the primary attraction of Navagio is a half-buried smuggler's ship that looms above the beach. On the small uninhabited island of Marathonisi, you can watch turtle feeding.

You can do a sightseeing tour on the island or opt for a private tour. Once there, it is possible to go snorkeling, get to know the island's caves and enjoy its two beautiful beaches (more info on Water Sports in Zante).

Bochali is a charming small town located on the top of a hill that rises out of the city of Zante. Many restaurants there offer romantic dinners under the stars. There you can visit the Church of Zoodochos Pigi which contains many Byzantine icons. There is also a large pine forest in the vicinity where there is 15th century Venetian castle partly destroyed by an earthquake in 1953. From this place, it is possible to get a 360 degree panoramic view of the island's entire coast all in one shot.
